Hi there! I am Ziming Zhao (赵子铭), a PhD student from D2I Group@UH advised by Dr.JingChao Ni. I graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2023 with a master's degree in Data Information Science. After graduation, I had a one-year working experience as machine learning engineer at Alibaba, Ant Group. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao University in 2021. If you are interested in my research or other aspects, feel free to email me at zzhao35[at]uh[dot]edu

Academic Background

  • Jan 2025 - Dec 2030 (expected): Ph.D., Unversity of Houston
  • Sep 2021 - Jan 2023: M.Sc., Unversity of Michigan, Ann Arbor
  • Sep 2017 - Aug 2021: BEng, Shanghai Jiaotong University

Research Interests

  • Time Series Analysis
  • Graph Learning
  • Hypergraph Modelling for Multimodal Data

My current research focuses on leveraging image transformation and pretrained large vision models for time series analysis. My previous research was about graph learning in modeling multimodal data and spatiotemporal data to solve real life problems, for instance, tasks in the field of DevOps and Healthcare.
